Inspiration
'Cambrian' is named after the Cambrian Mountains, a wild and empty plateau lying between the Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons National Parks. They are Wales' fourth national park in-waiting; designated in 1972, the Park was later cheated of recognition and protection, by an unholy alliance of landowners and politicians.
Once known as the "Green Desert of Wales", and generally between 1500' and 2000' in altitude, this huge area contains no sizeable settlements, except around its edges. Here are born many great rivers, whose valleys divide the plateau, and give the mountains much of their charm, as well as shelter for isolated farmsteads, and routes for travelers.
The Cambrian Mountains are divided by the A44 - the only main road which crosses them. To the north is Plynlimon, which includes the highest point in the Cambrians. Plynlimon is a massif, rather than a single hill-top. The rivers Severn and Wye start on its slopes, and from its high ground there are views of the whole of upland Wales; hidden within its folds are lakes and true mountain scenery, waterfalls, deserted valleys, and airy escarpments.

Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candles out of reach of children and pets. Always leave about 10cm between burning candles. Do not burn candles on or near anything that may catch fire. Only burn this candle on a level, heat-resistant surface.
Never burn this candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not allow the flame to touch the glass. On the first burn, always burn for 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool. Ensure the wick is upright, above the wax, and central before the wax sets. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting to avoid smoking and damage to the glass. Glass may become hot during use. Extinguish when 5mm of wax remains and do not relight.
