A warming Oriental accord with top notes of bergamot and spices on heart notes of rose, patchouli, ylang, orange blossom, and jasmine resting on a base of creamy vanilla, amber, musks, and woods.

This amazingly scented candle burns for approximately 35 hours and has a strong scent throw that will fully fragrance an average-sized room.

Wollerton at Domesday was Ulvreton and is derived from the Saxon name ‘Wulfrun’s – tun’, and can be translated as Wulfrun’s farm or house.

In 1066, the manor was held by Askell, but by 1086 it had passed to Earl Roger de Montgomery at which time it was part of Hodnet Hundred. It was held for Montgomery by Gerard de Tourney. Soon after Domesday Montgomery lost his lands, and Wollerton passed to Hame Peverel, who gave it to Shrewsbury Abbey. It then seems to have passed like Hodnet and Peplow to the de Ludlows and by inheritance to the Vernons. However, at some point, it was sold to the Lochards. After various sales, it came into the possession of Richard Heber in 1816, and up to 1910, it was still in the hands of the Heber-Percy family.

The late 16th century, half-timbered, Wollerton Old Hall is now Grade II listed and has gardens that are open to the public.  Wollerton Old Hall is a formal, modern garden on an old site. Covering 4 acres, its garden rooms are richly planted with perennials and bursting with design ideas. The garden is renowned for its salvias, clematis and roses, growing in controlled exuberance, and the clever use of colour, form and scale.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn candles out of reach of children and pets. Always leave about 10cm between burning candles. Do not burn candles on or near anything that may catch fire. Only burn this candle on a level, heat-resistant surface.

Never burn this candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not allow the flame to touch the glass. On the first burn, always burn for 3-4 hours to ensure an even melt pool. Ensure the wick is upright, above the wax, and central before the wax sets. Always trim the wick to 5mm before lighting to avoid smoking and damage to the glass. Glass may become hot during use. Extinguish when 5mm of wax remains and do not relight.
